My name is Mark Evans. I was born and raised in Digswell, which is where the name Digswell Construction comes from — the building company I founded over 35 years ago. Although I am now based in Welwyn Garden City, I continue to keep my work local, serving homeowners across Hertfordshire.
I began my career in the building trade at the age of 16, working as a groundworker on construction sites before completing an apprenticeship with a respected local builder. Alongside hands-on experience, I attended college on day release to learn brickwork, allowing my natural building ability to develop into the professional, highly skilled craftsmanship I offer today.
Over the years, I have built a reliable team of local, trusted tradespeople, many of whom I have worked with for a long time. Together, we take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and completing every project to the highest standard.
